Andrew Kass (b.1991) lives and works in New York City. His work consists of sculptural materials, photographic mediums, and site-specific interventions. His practice engages the diametric opposition and inherent connection between redevelopment and abandonment in the city. His most recent exhibition was a presentation of public access to a defunct vacant lot— exploring the effects that public and private space have on the role of play in an urban experience.
