Water Index is a rain collector that records its collecting. Depending on the atmospheric climate or location, the pH level of the rain varies. Through the water's contact with the copper, the liquid changes hue which drips onto the canvas below. The canvas acts as an indexical archive of climatic conditions, who's painterly marks are dictated by the weather.
